The Expendable is directed by Sylvester Stallone. In this movie the starring which are Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Jet Li.
The reason i choose this movie to analyzing is all the actors are very famous in Holly wood and i really like Sylvester Stallone.
The Mise-en-scene used in this movie, such as: sounds, setting and litghting.
When they in the airplane, they talking with others also the gun shooting, that is one of the Mise-en-scene. also the sound is the way to tell us something is happening.
The main setting which is colour. The colours are very neutral and downplayed in this scene, so i think the colours make this film more reality.
The lighting is very important in this scene. It using maturl light a lot,it is between a high key and a low key. it also make the fire and smoke more real .
It's awesome movie!
Great cast for the film, but unfortunately I got a bad rip of it so didn't get to enjoy the visual aspects!!! Now I need to get a good copy so I can watch without seeing peoples heads from a cinema.
So does it use more natural lighting or three-point lighting? What do you think?
