The last samurai.

Directed by : Edward Zwick.
Location : Japan 1876.
Main Object : Katana, howitzers and gatling guns.
Costume : Samurai armor, old japanese style and imperial clothes.
Lighting : They use natural light because most of the scene was outdoor or on the field.
Sound : Diegetic sound.

Tom Cruise as Nathan Algren has a trauma from his past in the war that kill the innocent people (indian). He make his living by showing a gun show to audience at japan, but later he get involved with Meiji Restoration Government. Mr. Omura which is the King advisor force him to train the imperial soldier to use a gun. And have them prepared to face the samurai. They loose the battle and Nathan Algren was took as a prisoner by the samurai. Katsumoto the leader of the samurai slowly make Nathan learn the way of samurai and in the end he choose to fight with samurai until the end.

    I havn't seen all of this film but the mise-en-scene looks great. Awesome how you identified the mise-en-scene in the film!

    I got to watch all of it now.
