Gone With The Wind (1939)

Director: Sam Wood

Actor: Barbara O'Neil

After watching the film Gone With The Wind, i try to analyze it from professional sites.

The novel, Gone With The Wind Published in 1936, became an immediate best-seller, bringing first-time novelist Margaret Mitchell an overwhelming amount of critical and popular attention. Then the novel was adapted as a film in 1939—an achievement that won ten Academy Awards.

The film was a romantic love story, it's about a character -- Scarlett O' Hara who was not beautiful, but men seldom realized it plots to capture the man she loves—Ashley Wilkes in her father's BBQ party, but Ashley rejects and tells her that he loves her sister.

The war was coming, Scarlett's life and the lives of everyone around her are altered. Due to rejected by Ashley, Scarlett married Melanie's brother, Charles. Unfortunately, Chariles went to war and died, however, Charles dies from measles, not fighting. Scarlett became a widow, then she grew restless and moved in Altanta, lived with Melanie and Pitty. When Melanie feels great love and respect for Scarlett, but Scarlett is jealous of her and hates her, because she still loved Ashley ...

Scarlett's professional performance made the film more excellent, from a spoiled, high-tempered lady to a responsible, brave to protect her home. In the film, Scarlett use her eyes contact made the film live, and became a brilliant movie in the world.

Classic movie, brilliant film and acting... I gotta say I am impressed you wrote about a very old film, even if this is a well known film, a lot of people would prefer more recent films. You did good with your analysis, but also try to understand it with your personal thoughts, not just with websites. But thats just for next time.

    I also love this film!!!
