Shane's Movie Analyzing

**Posted by Shane7up at 8:27 PM

After I took the Intro Cinema lessons, I watched the again and analysed it in a professional way. This movie is about the war between human beings and robots. Neo (Mr. Anderson) keeps being confused for a long time between dream and real world. Until he met Morpheus and then become a super hero of the real world.
The theme of the movie is just like a Holy Bible but a future version. Neo is the jesus. He has to own the courage to be sacrifice. Also when he revived, he got the power to save human beings to give them real freedom. The center of the real world is Zion. The name is also from a mountain in Jerusalem. Before Jesus know he's the one, he has John to give him baptism. Neo was told by Morpheus he's the only hope for the real world. Jesus died because of Judas took 30 silver coins. Neo died because of Cypher still loves the juicy steak and beauty. The whole story is all about love, faith, freedom and hope.
This movie has two time line. One is in the real world. It's already in 22th century. But in the Matrix system people's still live in 1999. The machine created a virtual world to control human beings' mind and use them as cells. People enjoy the lifes in the unreal system and don't even want to leave the system like Cypher did. Before Neo knew the truth, Morpheus is the guy who tell the whole situation about the Matrix. Then neo become the one.
In the real world, all the scenes are in the space ship or the Zion, where looks very dirty, simple and crude. In the other side the Matrix world is just like where we are living, very flourishing and full of temptation. The director used the sun glasses again and again. No matter Neo, Trinity or Morpheus, anyone went back to the Matrix from real world wearing a sun glasses. I think it's not just for looking cool. When they go back to the Matrix, they have to face to the temptation. Yami food, sexy girls, money... The sun glasses show the faith of them, what they want is real freedom. In their eyes they all reject the virtual things.

Wow I am impressed. I do trust that you actually did watch this film again in a professional way (That makes Dr Dray get teary eyes) because this is exactly what I'm looking for in a movie analysis.

So I am guessing your fan of the Matrix series? Seen the animatrix? It's great.

At first viewing, you can just understand the story from one level.. But its one of those movies that when you watch a second time, you can understand it on another level which is what analyzing is all about.

PS: *yami is 'yummy' .. hehe..

    Excellent post.
